Fish in the right pond at LiD 2018, an event offering you an extraordinary opportunity to engage effectively with NHS diagnostics leaders, through speaker slots, exhibition stands, workshops and networking in superb exclusive venues.

Promoting the Value of Diagnostics

LiD 2018 showcases diagnostics which add value to patient outcomes, experience and results. LiD 2018 was purposely established to share best practice with NHS diagnostic leaders who want to make a difference. Whilst the cost of diagnostics is important the event focuses on the bigger picture of diagnostics including:

  • Leveraging Artificial Intelligence
  • Early Diagnosis and Intervention
  • Costs of Drugs and treatment
  • Cost Effectiveness of the whole pathway
  • Impact on patient experience, behaviour, outcomes and lifestyle

A Higher Level of Event Engagement

LiD 2018 puts the human back into events. LiD 2018 is designed to support the news sales model of engagement, education, networks and known liked trusted partners, offering a more sophisticated approach than cold calls, leads, sales demos and sales pipelines. At LiD we are firm believers that the difference between a contact and a contract is an “r” where “r” stands for a business relationship. Last year's event attracted delegates from 132 NHS Trusts, including 56 pathology service managers, 44 radiology service managers, 31 lead radiographers, 105 diagnostics clinicians, plus 150 other NHS diagnostics leaders. NHS Improvement radiology and laboratory transformation teams are taking a bigger involvement in LID 2018 this year, with each NHSI national team leading a session on transformation in action to include the plans, progress & challenges, transformation experiences in the patch and clinic workshop sessions.

If there was one event that I won’t miss it’s this one, as
it’s refreshing, positively focused on improving patient
outcomes and approaches diagnostics holistically rather
than in silos
